Zaza Karaim is a writer and artist from Tucson, Arizona. She attended one of the US's premier film schools, the University of Southern California's School of Cinematic Arts, where she received her BFA in Writing for Screen & Television in 2021.

She then moved to Dublin, Ireland, and completed her MA and MFA in Creative Writing at University College Dublin, where she nows teaches creative writing.

A lover of both the written word and the visual arts, Zaza spends her time carrying around her Sony camera, writing incomprehensible ideas for her next novel in her Notes App, and crocheting. She enjoys Formula 1 and a good trip to the movie theater, with popcorn of course.
